Meet Emily

Hello! I’m Emily – a Holistic Nutritionist (HNC) and AIP Certified Coach (AIPCC).

Happiest surrounded by water, trees, and a moment of solitude, I’m a strong proponent for Nature Therapy.

I love a good British murder mystery, and I can’t be without a cup of tea and some dark chocolate!

About Emily

“Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be; embrace who you are.”

Brené Brown

I earned my 3-year Advanced Diploma in Holistic Nutrition at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, and am a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-Pro). To work with you safely and professionally, I firmly adhere to a Scope of Practice as set by these institutions.

With over six years of clinical experience working with digestion issues, adrenal burnout, hormone imbalance, and sleep disruptions, I especially love supporting autoimmune conditions and mental/emotional health.

I was diagnosed with Graves Thyroiditis in 2012. When I became increasingly ill in 2013, I finally decided to take my power back, and started working through nutrition and lifestyle changes. I quickly learned that our lifestyle choices and relationship with food can directly impact our health on a deep level.

My experience left me passionate about incorporating nutrition as foundational medicine. I’ve also found the psychological impact of chronic illness can be just as challenging as other symptoms you might be living with. Therefore, I place great importance on incorporating mental/emotional support for my clients.

As I grow in my practice, I’m learning to slow down, shift my focus to a more heart-led approach, and drop perfectionism from the pursuit of wellness.

Work With Me

I offer virtual 1:1 consults from the comfort of your home!

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I become a part of your health team. I utilize a holistic approach by incorporating Ayurvedic and Chinese traditions with modern Western ideology and some herbal medicine.

Holistic nutrition looks beyond food and considers stress, mental health, environment, movement, and lifestyle as being integral to sustainable health and healing. There are no magic beans! Change takes time, it takes work, and I am here to support you on your healing journey.

Let’s meet where you’re at now in your unique journey and find what works best for you.
